28th President of the US, 34th Governor of New Jersey (who was a racist southerner from Virginia), 13th President of Princeton, a man who’s earliest memory was seeing Jefferson Davis fleeing the south, a famous lost causer, historian who loved re writing history, and despite the fact he’s historically ranked one of the best in my opinion our worst president, Woodrow Wilson.

where to start besides the election of 1912, the only reason he was elected was the fact Teddy Roosevelt (my favorite president so I’m disappointed he’s the reason we have Wilson) decided to run a 3rd party candidacy because he didn’t like the fact William Howard Taft wasn’t another him, hell it’s said Roosevelt said at the convention “nominate me or I’m going to run 3rd party and hand the election to Wilson” which led to splitting the republican vote, we all know what would’ve happened if it was Taft vs Wilson or Roosevelt vs Wilson
Wilson had a superiority complex, he believed if you disagreed with him you were stupid and only his opinion was right, he was set in his ways something very bad for Presidents.
he immediately re segregated the Federal Government and in one case when a Black Man couldn’t find a new job or be transferred to a different department had a cage built around him, it’s his racist beliefs and policies that led to the KKK really becoming a thing again, which had basically died when Grant was president because of Reconstruction
He showed the first ever movie in the White House which was a KKK movie “The Birth of a Nation” based on a book literally called the “THE CLANSMEN” because Wilson owed the producer a favor.
Joined into WW1 AFTER getting re elected on the fact “he kept us out of war” after the allies basically already won the war, then tried to go and dictate what happened at the Paris Peace Conference with his 14 point which granted could’ve helped prevent WW2 but he gave up on all of them for the League of Nations which the US never even joined
he had the Espionage & Sedition acts passed and even advocated for it during peace time, which was supposed to be used against people who give information to the other side of the war and then was used to prosecute and imprison his political enemies (once again back to his superiority complex)
and then to end his presidency in 1919 he had a stroke which left half his body paralyzed and no one besides his wife could see him while she basically acted as president, and honestly she did a better job then he did, and the mf still wanted to run for a 3rd term.
- He imprisoned THOUSANDS of Americans who dares speak out about the war & citizens who dare speak out about his tax policies in public & citizens who dared read the constitution aloud in public. (An FDR on steroids — the only thing missing were the CONCENTRATION CAMPS FDR used to imprison over 100,000 Americans).
- Despite his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, he called it an old dusty and out of date document.
- He thwarted the constitution at every opportunity. His every action was to turn the presidency into “Philip Drew Administrator” where the President would simply decree — he openly advocated the end routing of the constitution — his ideal outcome was “that communism” thing in Europe. Their leaders had it much easier, simply decree and act without a “pesky constitution” or separation of powers to worry about
- He single-handedly resurrected the KKK from the walls within the Whitehouse by screening “Birth of a Nation.”
- He re-segregated federal government jobs (often just firing black federal workers) and the military.
- His second wife (who he married in office) essentially ran the country after Woodrow Wilson’s stroke — she really did become the first woman president no one knew we had.
- Despite campaigning on keeping us out of WWI — 2 weeks after his reelection, he put us into WWI simply to help mold the world to his desire (League of Nations). He wanted to reshape the borders of the world.
- Started the annual Whitehouse Press Dinner to cozy up to reporters — bringing them inside the administration. He figured those who “became his friend” would not talk bad about him in the press.
- It was the Woodrow Wilson Administration (very specifically Edward Bernays) who Hitler and Goebbels learned the value and execution of state sponsored propaganda as well as the use of gas chambers.
