Stand up Senator Mark Kelly, combat veteran and astronaut, in front of a Court Martial and let’s all watch as they completely exonerate him and belittle and tear apart the “commander in thief.”

When it all comes down to it, they are going to announce to a waiting world that…

Mark Kelly told the fucking truth, and everything he said was entirely legal, and also, entirely correct.

It is going to reinforce to all of our military the exact message Senator Kelly and others have been telling them – that it is in fact not just their job, but their DUTY and their HONOR to disobey illegal orders.

Let’s do that Court Martial so the world can see on full display just how little Trump knows about the military, the law, justice, and decency.

As an Independent I can tell you very quickly that if they fully try to go after Kelly, the Republican party as a whole will have just made him a viable candidate for President for 2028, and Independents and moderate Republicans will largely take up his vote.

1st, going after a retired military officer whom has been honorably discharged before he became a senator for sedition for reminding the military of their oath will infuriate every single veteran whom has ever served in the military that isnt MAGA (and before you start, there’s a great deal of us of all political parties) which will guarantee they will never vote with the MAGA party again.

Secondly, you don’t try to crucify a former military member for honoring the UCMJ. You just don’t. We value the Constitution and the UCMJ is the law that guided us. You attacking him is wiping your ass on both of them.

I can’t speak for all Democrats obviously however I suspect most feel kind of like you all at a Trump rally. Jubilant. Ecstatic. Joyous. This would be a Christmas gift of EPIC proportions. If they go through with this fiasco they just elected the next President of the US.

So tell me Mr. Uniform Code of Military Justice expert exactly what charge he’s going to be court martialed for?

Here’s what will happen. First they have to recall him to active duty which they can do. No problem.

Now here’s where it gets interesting. They need a charge. They don’t have one. I’m sure they think they do and will come up with some BS. They might even find a JAG lawyer who isn’t disgusted by the whole thing. Maybe they’ll let Bondi do it.

The case will be tried in front of military officers. People who know the UCMJ. Who know what Kelly et al said is 100% accurate and legal. They won’t convict. Kelly will emerge even more of a national hero than he already is.

FAFO? yes but it’s not Democrats who are about to get a lesson.
