See where I’m going with this? Here’s a view of Florida from the ISS.

The point is that the ISS isn’t high enough to capture the entire Earth in a single photo. Flat-Earthers refuse to understand composite pictures and the difference between them and CGI.

Unless the photo was taken from a far greater distance, all pictures of a complete Earth are composite pictures.

This one is from NASA, released in 2015, a single photographic image from the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR), marking the first full-disk Earth image released by the space agency since the Apollo era.

Regardless, to be blunt, NASA couldn’t care less what flat-Earthers think. FEs think that every NASA picture is faked anyway – wouldn’t make a difference.

I understand how a composite image of Earth is made, and why it looks different than a single image.

I understand that the angle used to take each image is much closer than that of one taken at the distance needed to include the entire Earth in a single frame, and that different filters are used to highlight different aspects of its surface.

Flat Earthers post images like the one below because they simply don’t know any better. Well, they do know better, but refuse to learn.

You clearly have not understand how they will react. Oh no no no no no.

1. You take a pic of the Earth with the ISS, via their continuous stream going 24/7;
2. You post it online;
3. Flat Earth Society will look it and tell you it’s fake, that you don’t entirely see the planet – the ISS is orbiting at an altitude of around 400 km – and that the curvature in the background is caused by a fisheye-style photographic lens;
4. You tell them to look the stream;
5. Repeat number 3;
6. You tell them it’s actually true and demonstrate it via math formulas;
7. They tell you it doesn’t work because the formulas were created by the NASA;
8. You say no, these are real formulas;
9. They tell you that you were brainwashed since you were little and that it’s normal you can’t understand everything around you is fake;
10. You ask at the current ISS occupants to talk to them;
11. Repeat number 3 & number 9;
12. You tell them they are fucking stupid and ask for real proofs;
13. Repeat number 9;
14. Ask for proof again;
15. They tell you that the sun is too big in the sky to be that far and that the moon is too big in the sky to be that far;
16. Repeat number 12;
17. They tell you they are self-proving;
18. You ask them about how can the gravity work if the Earth is fucking flat;
19. They invent you some bullshit about how the Earth is going upwards into space at the speed of gravity;
20. Repeat number 12;
21. They tell you that you can’t feel the difference;
22. You ask them how the fuck they can know about it if they never quitted the ground;
23. They tell you it’s false because they’ve already took the plane once;
24. You tell them they are a shame to intelligence and to the human species;
25. Repeat number 9;
26. You quit

I guarentee that’s how they will react. Morons will stay morons, they’ll qualify every proof you bring them of fake and then tell you that you were brainwashed by the medias.
